Yeah, be nice to get something different for sure. Once Five Guys and Burger King opens there, there will be no less than six major burger joints all on the same block. McDonalds, A&W, Dairy Queen, Wendy’s, Five Guys and Burger King. Be nice to get a Popeyes being they are owned by same parent as Tim’s and Burger King. Or like you said a Taco Bell. Something we don’t already have.

Everyone seemed to rave about “Forever 21” and wish they’d open in Newfoundland before it’s us parent went bankrupt and closed all of its Canadian stores. Well a new owner is returning “Forever 21” to Canada with new physical stores. I wonder if they will end up at da mall after all?

Careful what you wish for. The 'new' Forever 21 is being operated by the same people that own Urban Behavior, etc. They even have the same items on their respective web sites.

Doesn’t matter to me either way. I wouldn’t be shopping there anyway.

Was at the mall the other day. Skechers and Sportchek are now opened. Also, the location that was formerly Fairweather and International Clothiers is now gonna be the new location for Bluenotes and Aeropostale. Not sure if this is gonna be a combo store or two separate stores.

So it will be September before you can go there without lining up for hours.

Do the Canadian Five Guys use Peanut Oil like in the states?

According to the Canadian menu, yes they do. There is enough calories, fat and sodium in a burger for at least 3 guys. The bacon milkshake sounds disgusting yet I'm intrigued.

It is take out for now, as the crowds are so big...that and trying to keep a reasonable distance between them, all that table space is needed for that reason. The lineups are long. Your wait will be 10 minutes for your food and about a minute for every person in line ahead of you. That's the formula people have been tossing around and when I went there myself, I would say it was pretty accurate. A meal will run you around 20 bucks tax in. The hours are 11am-11pm 7 days a week.

Starbucks opening in the food court, where Devanna's used to be, unsure if other location is closing, but i would assume so.
