Edmonton - 'Al Fresco' (patios, wine, beer, food)

Ah... Al Fresco, the best day of the year downtown in my opinion. Right in the middle of downtown on 104st, shops, restaurants, and various other vendors, musicians, DJs, and Fashion shows spring up from the street delighting us with splendor.

Fantastic shots. Wish I could have been there. Now who is 'watering the plants' on top of the Icon podium from 18 floors up with Steam Whistle?

^yup, wicked day for those from out of town... although if you come mid summer during Late July you can get another week of wicked stuff from 'taste of edmonton'/cap ex/Honda Indy Edmonton.

Additionally, the 2 mid August weeks are 'Fringe' which is the 2nd largest indoor/outdoor theatre/play/street act festival in the world on our famous Whyte avenue with much of the same experience.

That said, I am biased as this is my hoods festival.
