And this is the definition of kickass. Excellent set.

Main Street Square at night may not be the most happening place - unless you're a photographer. The lights and the water can be truly something else.

Way to tie in the cracking wall of the now-demolished Savoy building too.

i have an easy solution to get main street jumping again:

let people walk around with drinks!

it works for New Orleans and i would guarentee that it could work wonders for the downtown club scene.

I think you can do that on the Strand in Galveston. I know I've done it, but not sure if I was doing it legally :p

Isn't like there aren't already drunk people roaming around and pissing on the sidewalks after all.

see, they should totally do that here. they did that duirng the superbowl in 2005 for that one week. You would think that one of the city officials might be able to link that to a easy way to up tourism in houston.

Amazing pics. I like the way your editing brings out the strengths that are already there in the composition.

I think this is my favourite out of this set - has an almost 3D effect.

^^ nice. i hate this view at daytime. my dream is to have all the ugly facades that hide the original timeless faces of buildings come off that ruin the aestetics of Main Street.
