That's your argument.

I’m not arguing. I expressed my observation. Personally, I don’t really care that much about the issue other than that I’d like to see fewer cars in NY. If people want to drive, whether they’re from 79th and Park or the Bronx, they should pay for the privilege.

^ Then good. Its a ridiculous debate to begin with, particularly in this thread.

Sometimes all those glass buildings appear to be the same color.
Then there are moments like this where all buildings are a different color.

btw. Gary Hershorn is a saint

. . “Shrub Stairs Tower” looks better than I thought it would,
back when BIG first proposed it . . It’s a lot of glitzy real-estate,
to be sure . . But does its joke design edify the skyline ? . . Is all the
glare from its mirrored walls, just gonna cook the dead shrubbery,
instead of save the environment, as promised ? . .

I'm putting this comment here because I can't find a thread specifically about the Hudson Yards development as a group project in itself.

This building is a slight relief from massive brutality of what it is a part. I say this because of how it seems to be pulling itself apart and while also being mostly

as heavy handed as its sibling brutalities, it does lend a (albeit very expensive) comic air to the distinctly inhuman clump of flashy egotistic clunks which is

primarily a visual assault which lessens the cityscape.

Looking at the images of these glassy clunks with the older skyscrapers in the distance only makes the rest of the city look more humane.

What a shameful lack of good municipal planning.

Is this supposed to be a joke I'm not getting or something?
