Revisited....

At a recent stay during Chinese New Year 2009 I got some additional shots:

Plaza 66 in Chinese New Year deco:

Grand Gateway in Chinese New Year deco:

CITIC Square:

The CITIC Square shopping mall (中信泰富廣場) on Shanghai's Nanjing Road West features mazes of highly polished steel escalators on both ends.
Looking upwards from the basement level the reflections in the steel make this appear like something designed by M.C. Escher.

Tried the Bistrow at the Grand gateway mall at Xu Jia Hui; I would give it a thumbs up, the food was superb. Coming from the wagas group, every food is really meticulously done with great respect to their clients.I have always love wagas and now here comes bistrow! Yay!

Ha! I'm eating pasta from Wagas as I read this.

I stay as far away from shopping malls as possible. In Shanghai, even more so.

Why? Is it the $500 Hugo Boss oxfords? Or the $8000 snakeskin jackets at Armani? Lol.

Where is Xu Jia Hui in Shanghai anyway? I've been to Plaza 66 but not this 'Grand Gateway'.

Looking forward to my upcoming Shanghai trip.
