It they made any changes to this one, I would hope it was just to add the 25 ft neccessary to bring this one up to supertall status. With 3 other supertalls nearby, the extra 25 ft won't hurt.

I think it'll be one of the BEST looking boxes in NYC. Please don't call it dull just because its a box.

I just don't get it, why do so many people have prejudice against a 'box' ?

I happen to think that the 'box' is the skyscraper in its most true form. I love international box architecture. This building is just that only in the 21st Century.

I love boxes. This one has a few subtle touches.

These will shoot up from out of the ground in no time. We're close.

Just think, by the end of next month in just a small area of Downtown Manhattan, there will be at least two 900 footers (possible 3 with Beekman) and three 1,000 footers under construction.

It's really a beautiful thought. I cannot wait until that gap in the skyline in once again filled. It's been a long while. Only this time it'll return better than ever.

We'll see exactly how creative they are when we see the facade

Sometimes, the design and shape of a building is absolutely beautiful, but the facade turns out to be just ;just like in the case of One Bryant Park. And the opposite can also happen.

The beauty and creativity of a skyscraper not only depends on the design/shape but also the facade.

I'm really banking on that they'll throw in the additional 25ft. I mean, what's 25ft when you already have 975ft. Obviously nothing, but not always in the eyes of a New York developer.

i know. alot of new yorkers are rejecting the new world trade center because all they know in the skyline are the twin towers and we all miss the Twin Towers but if we build them back i will just remind us of what happend i hate to say it but it really is time to move on i wish i could of seen them.
but i do wish they would build a freedom tower twin towers.

Actually no. Many of the 'New Yorkers' I know and come in contact with are embracing the New WTC and are looking foward to its completion. The Twins will always be remembered and missed, but part of being a New Yorker is staying strong and moving on.

With all that Larry has on his plate, making 4 WTC a 'supertall' is not on the top of his list. Perhaps it'll cross his mind down the road, but for now a 975' tower isn't bad in my book. Would four be nice, sure it would, bet we've done good overall.

I know you're new here, but lets try to keep the thread on topic. Remember, this is 4 WTC, not the Freedom Tower.
