Return to Savannah

This is a sort of continuation of my previous Savannah thread of photos I took in 2019. I tried to focus on blocks that I hadn't photographed before.

The previous thread:

Most people focus on the Historic District and ignore the Victorian District which is more of a regular neighborhood:

Very nice, the Victorian district has a sort of a Boston and to a lesser degree San Francisco look about it. I get this feeling that Savannah is a very chill and laid back city where everyone takes it slow and relax.

Great photos! Savannah is a wonderful city, and as you mentioned there's great architecture well beyond the neighborhoods where most tourists go to. An apartment I lived in for a short while is in the peripheral of one of your photos - takes me back!

This tour really made me look back fondly on my visit there several years ago where I wandered around extensively...and had a most wonderful afternoon tea at Gryphon!

Savannah looks wonderful. I had booked a hotel for a visit to Savannah in early November 2020 but sadly the trip was canceled due to Covid. I definitely plan to visit one day.

quite the opposite unfortunately. the locals who live there are infamously obssesed with and parochial jerkys about who is actually from there and who isnt. doesnt affect tourists though.

Savannah is so lovely. Great photos and nice to see the city outside the 'squares'.

Loved your photos! I spent a few days here back in February. Savannah is one of my new favorite cities. I found it to be such a comfortable city to walk around. The squares, the architecture, the little shops, SCAD seemingly everywhere, the little details you stumble upon, like an old fashioned bus stop sign. An amazing place!

Love the idea of revisiting Savannah through your photos! It's like taking a trip down memory lane. When I was planning my visit, https://tripsavannah.com/savannah-pe...accommodations was a lifesaver. I found the perfect pet-friendly place to stay, allowing me to explore every nook and cranny of this charming city.

My headcanon is that Savannah is a southern Philly, to Charleston's southern Boston.
