The only "train" I have, is that gorgeous model of the Santa Fe engine. Those usually go for $40 a piece. I think they put out another one of the same style, but a different railroad. Anyway, I got mine at a toy resale shop. I bought it along with a bulk bag or two of Legos. I remember coming up short about 4 dollars and the lady there knocking off the price. So...I ended up getting a $40 Lego set for 12 bucks!
If you have any toy resale shops in your town, I'd suggest checking them out for Legos. You can get some sweet deals on just about anything. That's how I've been buying my Legos for the past 15 years is at that shop.
the regular 9v trains... ive heard from a coupel of places that Lego is moving to only having the remote control trains, no more 9v trains. Itsucks.. but oh well.
I haven't found any used toy stores here either...

Garage sales are another good place to hunt for Legos. Just go through the classified ads and pick the ones that seem like they might have Legos. By the time kids are in their mid to late teens if they even still have their Legos they're usually willing to let them go for dirt cheap as they're tired of them taking up space.
