I used to live along the creek that fed the Felker's Falls. (accessible by HSR routes 11 & 43).
It's a great spot to visit (Upper Stoney Creek) and is actually pretty tranquil for a suburb. Just stay away from the Mud/Paramount intersection... yikes!

I visited Tew's Falls a week or two ago and was astounded by the sheer awesomeness of it. It's actually an incredibly tall waterfall, nothing piddly and small at all. The rate of water going over it was also creating quite the rumble.

tew's is 41 metres.. horseshoe falls in niagara are 50m .. pretty close! a lot less water though :-) -- tews dried up completely this summer...

this is right by that waterfalls guy's house on scenic dr., wonder if he had anything to do with it also...hopefully the view looks better in person

I think the view looks great.

It would be nice if we could do more of this so long as the environmental impact isn't too great.
