There must be a worldwide shortage of proper street names. Likely pandemic-related.

^Popeye's opens on March 30th.

Also in that strip MVP Barbershop will be opening soon. It's a national franchised brand.

And way up Larry Uteck I noticed a sign saying the mysterious multi-building development at Brookline North & LUB will be called The Rooks of Bedford West. No other information on the sign.

Anyone know what this is?

Saw this pop up on Cresco's rental upcoming spring of 2022 page but can't seem to find any reference to it on the web anywhere.

https://imgur.com/a/GSesGIy

Was wondering if it may be the 72 unit building they are putting up on Hogan court between the plaza and the apartment building. Anyone familiar? I emailed them this morning to ask.

It's a townhouse cul-de-sac off of Brookline Drive between Break Trail and Elizabeth Doane. They are well underway. So far twenty civic numbers have been assigned to that street.

The building you're thinking of will be Harmony Square II.

Anybody know what the building to the left of Popeye's is going to be? It is currently covered, presumably to allow for some kind of masonry or cladding work to be done.

Between this, the Lake Banook hotel and the Sandman in DC it would seem veeeery slow hotels builds are an HRM theme.

Case 24602 - West Bedford Sub-Area 10 Development Agreement

Proposal

The applicant wishes to build a residential cluster that consists of 642 dwelling units, housing approximately 1,442 persons. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
• Five multiple unit dwellings varying in height (Two 12 storey buildings, two 9 storey buildings, and one 6 storey building)
• Townhouse-style units integrated into the podium of several of the multi-unit buildings,
• Central amenity space for residents, and
• 5.976 acres (2.41 hectares) of public parkland.

This is one of Nova Scotia's special planning areas. The approval for this project will come from the Executive Panel on Housing. There won't be a formal public hearing like with previous Sub-Areas.

Construction permit has been issued for the Jack's Car Spa (20 Jam Lane). This is behind the Irving in picture #2. Photos taken by me (link to my page is in my signature).

49 Brookline Drive

Larry Uteck Plaza - Scotiabank 'coming soon' sign on site. The Irving is nearly complete in the background.

The Rooks of West Bedford - Rooksview Lane which is Larry Uteck & Brookline north.

What is going on with that parking lot in the middle of the "Rooks" development?

The Rooks of West Bedford

Brookline Luxury Apartments

Circle K / Irving at Broad Street and Larry Uteck is now open. Also Brookline Drive is open to Trekker Drive. It is paved beyond this towards the future north roundabout.

The Rooks

How many residential buildings and units are planned for this complex? Also how much commercial space is to be had? Is there a video rendering of the project that shows more that just exterior lot?
