Cameras rolled for 152 productions in 2021, and the city’s film office issued 816 permits before the Christmas holidays.
That compares with 113 productions in 2020, which saw productions shut down between March and June because of the pandemic. The previous top year was 2019, with 141 productions.
The film office said there was $69,611,205 in self-reported direct spending in Hamilton by film productions.
