Yep! I promise not to spam this thread with a bunch of spaceflight posts, since this thread is focused on construction. But it does look like this is happening! Date is currently Monday, 4/17.

Dang, Starbase is growing so fast they're already tearing down earlier buildings to make room for bigger ones.

Yeah, it is quite literally one of the extreme ends of the country. As far south in Texas or the US as you can go. Other than maybe the Florida Keys.

Its not that bad if you're going there on purpose. Its about half an hour drive if you fly into Brownsville. There is nothing to do there though besides seeing Starbase.

It's only a few miles from South Padre Island. Most people watch from there because of the safety range, can't get much closer.

This is probably the best resource for staying and viewing a launch.
