There has been recent site work on Hogan Court. Halifax Retales rekindled the Superstore rumours on their blog last weekend, maybe this is a sign?

Should be noted that Starboard Drive is now fully open and the traffic lights are turned on at Peakview Way. There's a couple of multi-units left to be built along with low-density housing off of Starboard and Shannex lands.

Nice building odd location, not very pedestrian-friendy. Great shot though!

I was really, really loving that building until they put on the finishing touch: circa-1980-Miami teal cladding

I am not seeing it in person, only from the pictures but I kind of like Miami teal. Gives a nice splash of color and I bet it is the only building in the city now or ever with that color. I would have a tendency to put palm trees on the balcony for summer and some Dolphins memorabilia on there as well.

Crane is up for 46 Friesian Court and is highly visible from Highway 102. This is the sister building to 49 Friesian shown above. It's also 12 FL / 150 UNITS and should be finished by Spring 2018.

A crane for the building to be built behind the storm water pond on Larry Uteck at the 102 was being delivered today. I believe this was planned to be a 10 floor rental.

The crane's half assembled. The construction permit is for 84-units and the running name for now is 81 Dellridge Lane

Friesian Place II is well underway and there is site prep going on for a two-storey commercial building at Friesian & Starboard.

Moderator's Note: I've renamed this thread in order to include future nearby developments . This will now be the discussion thread for all developments west of Bedford Highway and south of Hammonds Plains Road including Paper Mill Lake, Hemlocke Ravine, and the Ravines.

United Gulf has applied to amend its 22 year old development agreement for Paper Mill Lake. They are seeking permission to continue building lots without first constructing Nine Mile Drive extension to Hammonds Plains Road. The traffic impact statement agrees that the extension is unnecessary at the moment and most of the traffic will head towards the Larry Uteck interchange which is only running at 50% capacity right now.

Case 20507 -
Paper Mill Lake, Bedford

Anyone know what is being built at the corner of Starboard and Larry Uteck, at the Nine Mile Drive roundabout? I believe Shannex were supposed to build in that area, but I didn't think it was at that site. The structure has what looks like will be a parking garage. It's zoned Community/Commercial. Have a few pics, but can't figure out how to post them. It's asking for a URL:

Shannex owns that site and much more land in behind. I have heard it will be a 2 storey office building for Shannex.

The crane for the "Charles 1" came down a couple weeks ago and today a new crane went up for the shorter "Charles 2". Its a little odd as there are significant costs to remove and install a crane, and they are different formwork companies, Harbour Foundations did the Charles 1, Arnoldin now for Charles 2.

Below is a large rendering:

The last two lots on lower Larry Uteck (near the 3 "Abigail" buildings) are active again, with lots of site work underway, I suspect the two buildings will be built soon. I believe they were approved for 10 floors.
