I like the marble pattern, but it doesn't match the cool tones of the building.

Are those scratches on the Vancouver House podium cladding (right side?)

Ya I wasn't expecting much from this tower but I'm a fan with how it turned out.

Agreed, the black and white is pretty striking overall.

It's an okay tower. Better than expected, but expectations were also pretty low.

I am surprised how they still have the Now Selling sign up. Sales haven't been very good with this one?

It was also touted as being high-end, despite the location next to an on-ramp.

Ha! Words like 'high-end' and 'luxury' mean very little these days on the Vancouver market. Everything is marketed as such, yet very little really is anything special with custom cabinetry or truly exclusive appliances.

ONNI is renting out suites through its long term rental "Level" branding:

https://www.stayinglevel.com/destina...ancouver/Howe/

Not sure if that's in the podium or what.
The address is 1333 Howe, so there could be separate entrance.

Yes, there are two lobbies - basically side by side, but fully separated.

Thanks.
I guess neither is a "poor door"

LOL Nope, in fact the two lobbies are very similar. Marble, chandeliers etc. Nothing "poor" involved with rentals at Level. They are very pricey as far as I know.

By me today:

Nice marble work at the condo entrance with big panels (they're Italian).
ONNI knows how to do marble well (like The Charleson, too)

Entrance to the Level long term stay hotel.

Small retail space for lease.
The painted concrete coluns would look better clad in panelling.

The podium screens mirror similar screens opposite (across the Granville Bridge loops on Seymour) at The Mark
(also by ONNI).

Disappointing - I recall this retail space was around 2,000 sq. ft. in an earlier project iteration, now 825 sq. ft. Time for another hair salon

Pretty big change here. This thread started after the demolition, not sure if anyone has any pre-demo pictures?

It was a shame to lose a budget hotel but the building is an improvement. Are the podium apartments market condos?

I think part of the podium is one of ONNI's long term stay hotels.
