Margaret T. Hance Park (also getting revitalized: https://www.phoenix.gov/parks/hancerevitalization)

Civic Space Park https://www.google.com/search?source...w=1536&bih=731

Also a couple other smaller neighborhood-type parks like Roosevelt Park.

Moontower Phoenix. This is Phoenix's newest residential building, it will be 21 stories and go up in Roosevelt Row.

Here PHX -- I hope this brand new parking lot is temporary, although some pretty permanent-looking landscaping was placed around it.

Here PHX -- anyone know if there any plans for the fenced-off gravel lot in the foreground? It's the block bound by Garfield, McKinley, 5th St, and 6th St.

First/Farmer - I hadn't realized they would be extending the pedestrian path along the tracks. I'm pleasantly surprised. Hopefully The Beam does the same.

Westin is close to done.

100 Mill is basically topped out--it looks like they might still be working on some type of rooftop structure, but I believe that's all 15 floors.

Hopefully we get a good photo updated soon !

Renderings for updates to Chase Tower and the addition of a residential tower across the street.

Verdict is still out on the seriousness of this render and plan.

Some more recent updates, thankfully this poster shares pictures of updates very often. Be sure to check links below the pictures as well. We are also hoping 2 of the bigger projects, Central Station and Astra will be starting soon.

Which areas are experiencing the boom? Mostly along Central or other areas as well? That's great to hear.

It's about time, Phoenix has perhaps the most underwhelming skyline in America, it looks like a city of ~5 million people.....in Africa

As it stands this city is a national embarrassment. It's exactly how NOT to plan a city. Almost nonexistent high density zoning, almost completely car centric and not to mention a looming water crisis that is getting worse by the day that was not taken into account whatsoever. This all comes from a person who wants to really love Phoenix and even had plans on at one time moving there.

It's America's fifth largest city, yet one needs a car to get everywhere and as an added bonus pay astronomical rents as an added bonus. Nearly two grand for a one bedroom rental then needing a car to get anywhere to and from there, no thanks... However; am optimistic and do look forward to seeing more mid-rise and high-rises being being developed and coming online as opposed to block after block of boring, unsustainable, overpriced poorly planned single unit dwellings as this city learns from its mistakes.

There is already a Phoenix thread for P&C, although it isn't updated very often. This can probably just get locked. Exxspecially considering the replies.
