Am I correct in assuming the long 4-storey building is a proposed hotel? Admittedly I just breezed through the city documents as my old laptop was having trouble dealing with the large drawings contained within the pdf.

At 297ft above the lowest grade this would be the second tallest building in Halifax to the roof. Although it's 28 stories the machine room area is almost 2 floors more.

I'm curious how Brightwork fits in with this. Renderings were released in early 2021 and some media outlets reported that construction would begin. Not sure if that has changed and where it would be built in relation to this larger phase that's now being discussed.
