Bergheim transmitter was a project for a mediumwave transmitter with two masts, each 200 metres tall. If these masts were built, they would have been the second-tallest structure in Austria at time of completion.
The project was canceled as the masts would have endangered flight traffic. At time of cancellation, the transmitter building and the bases for the masts were already constructed.
