Description:
This permit is for the renovation of an existing 41,703 square foot building owned by the American Red Cross. Project work is to include the conversion of the first-floor level office space into parking, partial replacement of existing first floor level storefront glazing with perforated metal screen, placement of two new exterior doors for vehicular access, replacement of existing chain link fencing with a new security fencing and gate, removal of existing ground level radio tower, and replacement of existing MEP systems throughout the facility. Painting of the existing exterior brick façade is under consideration. Additional renovations include a complete interior renovation to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. At the time, the 3rd and 4th floors would be “shell space” for a future tenant, storage, and mechanical rooms. The 2nd floor renovation would primarily be used for administrative office space and training rooms by the American Red Cross.
