1031 Canal/Hard Rock

Glad to see those permits for 1031 Canal, maybe we'll hear/see something soon enough. I saw a user in the Phoenix forum (Obadno http://skyscraperpage.com/forum/member.php?u=50185) post an update of this building and I couldn't help but imagine how great this would look for something similar to be built for round 2 of Rampart @ Canal. One could only dream though.

This is the demo plan the hard rock developers are pushing for that the city is not going to approve. lol also the city is now fineing the developers everyday for blight, as they should!

That view down the street of the Odeon in your top photo is great. What a change to the skyline looking that direction.

Since I'm not in the business or understanding construction, what is wrong with the demolition plan?

The crane is probably just in the resting position .. the canopy’s not finished yet.. possibly the construction site is shutting down for the remainder of this virus stuff or its just resting

The duration and the risk this unstable building poses to neighboring structures and people. Nothing to do with this is risk free but the city isn’t likely to go with this process not to mention its way too long timeframe wise. Such an eyesore~!
