Those Four Seasons plans look very nice. What does the base look like now?

Sounds like there's still a chance for BCE/Brookfield Place 3 to be built someday. It's on their website, 35 floors - http://brookfieldofficeproperties.co...III-11243.html

As an ex-pat Torontonian living in Vancouver, where hating Toronto is a cult-like sport passed down through the generations, I'll only say that the City of Toronto could collectively cure cancer and people in Vancouver would still piss and moan about it.

Canadians, as a general rule, hate all things Toronto (completely non-critically, in my opinion), but Vancourites (the coldest and most uptight 'laid back' people in the world) will forever have a bug up their ass, regardless of attitudes like the one noted above. It makes no difference. Vancouverites go on and on ad nauseum about how world class they are, and beat off regularly to images of snow-capped mountains, but no one accuses THEM of being arrogant or obnxious. Toronto will always be a target. That said, I'd rather be hated than dull and soulless like the Wet Coast often comes across. And being all congenial isn't going to get us liked any more than being boorish. So who cares?
