Not sure. Looking at Google maps, it may be Cox Beach?

such a lovely place. I believe it is Cox beach. Chesterman is where the low tide sandspit is...I've walked that over to the islands several times.

Ya good call, that'd be Chesterman in the distance in that pano then, you can see the sand spit.

So beautiful. How utterly horrifying and baffling that out provincial government wants to scar that mountain range with open pit coal mines.

Lol. I have no defence for Calgary’s stupid embrace of the UCP. Since so many here love our mountains many appear to be regretting it now though.

Not to defend the UCP but that was not an election issue, or even something anyone new about at the time. On the plus side even UCP supporters are against this, along with the park privatization. If the outcry prevents it and the UCP step back, their vote will likely stay with them however.

It's not exactly "landscape" but here's a video of dolphins (Atlantic white-sided dolphins) in St. Margaret's Bay NS:

A few from yesterday's hike. It was one of the first really long ones of the year - not that many steps:

But holy shit the elevation changes. It felt like the whole thing was uphill both ways (1 floor = 3m increase in elevation)

Thanks for those wonderful pictures.

Here is a little video of what it looks like on the other side of the Saint-Laurent.

A short video on Devil's Rock, on Lake Temiscaming, on the Ontario side.
An exceptional panorama, a little bit unrecognized.

Looking at all these photos and have to say, I need to do another cross Canada drive. Also need to get back to Vancouver Island soon. Hopefully this fall. Current plans are to get to NFLD next summer. (Regatta Day).

Planning on a couple of Gravel Bike Adventures here this summer. Mostly down to Dinosaur Provincial Park and Cypress hills.

Was talking with a friend at another Engineering firm about working in the Arctic, would love to get at least one more chance to work on Baffin, at least fly in not live there. They know I'm interested. My current firm has work in Yukon but nothing for me until Nov.

All photos by me of Alberta
