Not in the park, but rather the surrounding area.

Nothing much to walk to in the surrounding area, other than Double Greeting Won Ton House, Liquor on 96th and United Grocers.

Point being, put that money into doors, not park space at the moment.

Market and non-market housing. It needs another 1000-2000 people living there to bring some activity to the street.

I'm not sure I fully understand the placement of the skate park for this reason. You'd think it'd be something you'd want a block or two away from where you were trying to attract shoppers/residents.

Apparently we are to grab a lunch with friends sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Then pretend we are not being accosted by bums looking for cash or whatever.

No idea. I think it needs more instagram-pandering.

my assertion, yet again... is that the CoE believes the Parks & Rec sitcom was a documentary

it's a nice looking cart... but there's no horses to be seen. as nice as the hat turned out, it desperately needs a friend or three asap

nah, the amsterdam strip mall has that market wrapped up

it's honestly baffling how empty it still is.. every time I drive by there there's plenty of potential customers loitering around...
you'd think at least a weed shop would have set up by now? maybe a massage parlor to keep it on theme?

A few brightly coloured picnic tables for lunching, families and chess would be nice.

Why didn't they put two or three of these even. Kids don't need much (see Dick Mather), but 2-3 play elements goes a long way.

'Kinistinâw Park is currently an under-utilized open space located in the community of Boyle Street. As the centrepiece of The Quarters Downtown, Kinistinâw Park is envisioned as an inviting and safe urban park.

The design of Kinistinâw Park will reflect the past, present, and future stories of the community, encouraging everyday enjoyment and special opportunities for celebration and gathering. Integrated with the surrounding streets and properties, the park will be a dynamic and well-loved neighbourhood destination that is a source of local pride.'
