trying to find some aspect of this proposal i think looks great .... aside from an investment on Barton

I too am trying to find something positive but I truly feel that how this building meets the street will further damage the surrounding streetscape and I would rather the site be left alone until better comes along. It drives me nuts how this city loves mediocrity instead of buildings that better their neighbourhoods. I would personally feel ashamed to put my rubber stamp on this. Design is not always about more $ and in this case, the ball has definitely been dropped.

Councillors approve a new seven-storey mixed use building on the southwest corner of Barton Street East and Wellington Street North.
Ground level commercial, second floor offices/medical, upper floors, 79 residential units.
