It's a build finance maintain contract, so no. A significant amount of that cost will be in 20 years of maintaining the buildings.

Sort of like the last 10 office towers Toronto has built. Toronto hasn't built a beautiful office tower in almost 30 years. Scotia Plaza was the last nice one. EY is decent, I suppose.

Yeah, here is another one that was just proposed, not the prettiest but any additional office space is always good

49 Spadina Ave. (20s Office Bldg. 89m/292 feet, Sweeny + Co. Architects)

49 SPADINA AVE
Ward 20 - Tor & E.York District

Zoning By-law amendment to allow the redevelopment of the site containing a six-storey heritage building on the western portion of the site. The existing building will be retained and a new, 20-storey tower is proposed on the eastern half of the site. The existing building contains retail and commercial uses which will be maintained and the proposed tower will contain retail uses at grade and office uses above. No vehicular parking is proposed.
Proposed Use --- # of Storeys 20 # of Units 0

The 1990 TD tower and it's shorter twin are on par with Scotia Plaza I think.
