oh geez louize — sooo close to 432 park per tk2001’s update on feb 27 — about 30ft — have they added another floor yet? because that should do it for reaching such a long awaited milestone.

They have moved up another floor, but it has not passed 432 Park. It'll pass 432 with the next floor

The Empire State Building is a mile south of Tower Verre. You're not looking at a photo taken on an even plane. You have to compare it to the buildings around it. For example, you know that the CP Tower is currently much higher than the 86th floor of the ESB, but from what you are saying, they would be about the same height.

The Empire State Building is a mile south of Tower Verre. Therefore it is much further of the Tower Verre from where has been taken the photo, but it seems too higher of the Tower Verre. Why?

ESB sits on a hill and likely has higher elevation. Also, perspective can be misleading. ESB is a giant mass of a tower compered to 53 W.53.

And it's also a hell of a lot taller. ESB is 1,454 ft. when measured to top of its (very substantial) antenna.

Yes, but its 86 floor observatory is 320m, the same height of the top of the Tower Verre and in the photo.....

Perspective, photo is taken from the air.

I don't think it's on a higher elevation, but if it is, it's just slightly. It wouldn't be something that would be noticeable in that photo.

That's all it is.

Anyway, I've been noticing that this blue covering has been peeling off. I hope it all falls off. It's even more of an eyesore in this state.
