Living in Montreal during the 1970s-1994 and early 2000s I was spoiled by all the great urban grit in Montreal. But it is rapidly disappearing, either through gentrification, or demolition.

Nearly all of King between the Delta and Wellington is still a bit gritty, perfect for this thread

Weston Road through Mount Dennis in Toronto is pretty gritty.
