We have the best skyline.

Thanks for the photo harry c.

The building is moody. I see more color differentiation than others are saying they see. I am sure it looks very uniform much of the time. I love the form of the building however. A great addition the the skyline.

If the glass were totally smooth it would make all the difference IMO. But yea I think when it's fully clad we'll probably change our opinions. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's not totally in love with it, seems to be an unpopular opinion around here to admit that.

I think the building would have looked much better if clad in a uniform color glass, it would have been just as moody but without the ugly checkerboard effect. I hated this building from the very beginning but I have come to love it. 80% of the time it looks amazing it's only in certain conditions and times of day where it is not attractive.

I thought it would have been pretty bad-ass in the most modern of charcoal/ black. I do like it though and think it should clean up nice. The winter months when its 80% overcast skies is when it will look most drab, imo. But most out-of-country tourists don't come in the winter, so...

If the glass were smooth and one color then it would definitely look even more like a blob of glass. This doesn't look like a blob of glass to me.

Good Question. Looks like they could have the glass on the last section done by end of August/early September, with the exception of the skips.

Anybody have any word about the glass on the bumpout / lobby section?

honest question... how does Vista charge 2x for a new construction condo over a new construction condo in the same Lakeshore East development?

Not saying anything about a recession. Talking about the scale beginning to tip, inventory wise.

That might be true, but not as bad here as in other cities such as New York. They have way over built high end in that city with foreign investment propping it up for now. No one believed 2008 would happen either.
