Thanks for finding this. I'll be curious to see how many townhomes they intend to put up- I hadn't seen these properties turn over, so I'm curious how much land they've assembled. If it's just 80, it has a huge lot, but only big enough for a few units.

A fair bit of infill has been happening in this part of Kirkendall. Not just big projects, but small tear-downs replaced with semis or larger single families. Generally, it seems good.

On the topic of the walk score, I hope prospective buyers try to make the walk to Fortino's across the Main Street Expressway before buying based on that 93...

Lots of small 3-6 unit in fill projects in Ottawa, they seem pretty successful in up and coming neighbourhoods.

Valvasori is also building Allenby Lofts phase 2 across the street, which includes three row homes facing Paulette and a small apartment building behind the original Allenby school.

I'm excited to see that their design is like! These guys are big on the faux-industrial heritage look and I honestly can't complain as it's way better than the majority of townhouse projects in the city.

"Stacked" to me means 12. Plus 3 along Poulette so 15 altogether?

This kind of infill (similar to that happening in Corktown) would be welcome on smaller lots all over the lower city... and more than a few in the "upper" areas, and Dundas, and Stoney Creek.

Like this one, just too bad it will be hidden from the street.

I'll take it....good dense urban living in the middle of a built-up block. Steps to retail and transit. Nicely done. I'd prefer modern instead of all this faux nonsense, but hey...Hamilton.
I'm sure neighbourhood association types must have wardrobes full of faux leather.

any site plan?? Looks like stacked towns in the bigger building. It's 4 stories plus a 5th floor deck. Are bottom 2 floors one unit and top 2 floors a 2nd unit?

The taller ones are stacked with a unit on the lower 2 floors, and an upper unit that includes the roof deck. The townhouses along the street are just rowhouses.

The not-street-facing isolated 4-5-storey townhouse block is a style that I'm not sure I like but it seems to be an emerging trend? Reminds me a bit of what's proposed around John/ Barton/ Caroline, as well as what was recently built on Upper Wellington just south of the linc (super gross imo) and on Barton West.

These are by the same developer as the new towns on Barton West. I think the Disneyland historic village is their signature style. Not my thing but it sells!

Never heard of the company, but the greater, higher end low rise residential projects on locke the better. 101 Locke started the trend
