On the corner right there, I dont think it has an official date but probably not for at least a year.

Perhaps to coincide with the new campus enrollment growth. Given the situation, the second phase seems to have a high likelihood of completion.

I seriously hope they manage to improve the retail signage visible from the street or else those businesses are going to struggle. One of the corner leasing brochures doesn't even mention Creighton going in where it is and afaict it'll be eventually blocked.

Have a feeling that this Creighton medschool will outgrow the original pretty quickly. Choose between spending fall, winter, and spring in Nebraska or in AZ.

SWC of Central and Monterrey. According to 2nd link below, there's a drive-thru Starbucks (boo) going in, immediately due south from that corner, facing Central.

Not really a fan of a drive thru at this location, but it doesn't look all that intrusive to be honest. It is phenomenal to see patios and outdoor seating along Central and that the hotel and retail will meet the street. Should add some great active street frontage and help to hide the surface parking. Hopefully the retail/restaurant pads have real entrances on the Central Ave side too and not just back of house stuff.

So the Millennium apartment looks like all metal (I don’t know steel?), I don’t see any concrete. I haven’t see any buildings go up like this. Definitely glad it’s not wood frame but anyone ever see this?
