SEATTLE | Snowvember, it's Decembrrr

The cold weather and snow has frozen my mouth shut.

Somehow this only has gotten 6 views on flickr in the past 2 days

While this one of my desktop has gotten 16. what gives?

you again? with snow for added effect

In 1979, they called it the winter of discontent. What are we going to call this one?

Great shots. The snow adds an enchanting quality to an already photogenic city.

Great shots. New camera or using tripod?

This is already the coldest/snowiest winter I've been in here in Western Washington. It usually doesn't last more than a couple of days max. But this is a weird year, even Las Vegas is getting it.

I think we've reached "blizzard of 2008" conditions.

Seattle U (back in Division I this year) cancelled its basketball game. But the Seahawks are playing Sunday. My guess is 50% attendance.

These pictures are all before the latest round of snow. Taxis tonight were on a 90 minute delay so I walked home from downtown and pretty much carved out the first tracks in the snow.

Nope, same old camera, and tripod always at night!

Great shots. Seattle looks good in the snow. Glad to know we're not the only ones freezing our nips off during this unusually cold December.

Wow, that doesn't even look like a light, freak occurrence. Isn't snow rare there? I'm seeing Qwest field almost totally white right now.

In downtown next to the water it usually does not snow much, same goes for Vancouver. Farther you get from the water snow totals go up alot. Its pretty much snowing everywhere along the coast from Vancouver B.C. to Portland Oregon right now. Some places have already recieved huge amounts in upwards of 60 cm (2 feet).
