The windows in the western corner look like a different color than the rest of them

It’s from light penetration through the building at the corners

Hey strangers, here are a few from last night. Only about 15 minutes separates the two images. I'd been waiting until the last few panes of glass went in before I dedicate much time to making some proper images, but, she's finally all wrapped up!

She looks so good from the river, if only they didn’t mess up the mechanical floors on the other side smh.

Can St. Regis put some kind of signage over the top level of mechanical floors? I realize that those floors need to properly ventilate but there has to be some kind of aesthetic solve.

...from this optimal angle, and if the photographer is good, like Nick is. Some other angles are less flattering.

^ That shot is making me wish Wacker east of Michigan Ave had the same facade as Wacker west of Michigan Ave. It would be nice to block a bit of that orange lights of the lower levels and make the riverwalk feel more hospital and less noisy.

Wacker is not at all loud from the Riverwalk there, at least not above normal ignorable city noise levels, and the appeal of the Riverwalk is that you are in the middle of the city. The orange lights are sexy
