Urbex shots, from Toronto and beyond!

One of my biggest passions in photography besides night shots of Toronto is urban exploring. It's something that I have been doing for over 20 years but have only started to document in earnest over the last few. So, without further ado, I give you my shots of urban decay, cranes and rooftops! As always, c&c is always welcomed and appreicated

Cheers,
Zen

Rooftopping adventures are always a great way to see the city in all its glory. From far up it's peaceful and quiet.

It's all good...post more, and don't fall of some roof, that will really mess up your day

^Good point. I'm going to move this thread to that forum.

Nice work. I really like the fisheye shot. That lens seems to go well with urban exploration photography.

The reason I put this thread in general photography at first was because I visit abandonments in cities and areas outside of Toronto as well. So, on that note, here is the old Firestone plant in Hamilton Thanks for all the kind words guys, I love sharing my shots with you and will do my best to post a lot more on a regular basis, I do have tons of shots to choose from

This next spot is currently being restored and will be repurposed, I haven't been by in awhile so I am not sure just how far along they are with it. The building itself is a fairly big open space and was filled with some really nice pieces of graffiti. This is/was the Leaside rail shops.

Thanks Danny, shooting at night is my favourite time to shoot

On that note, I give you Toronto from the top of the Malt...This is probably my favourite viewing point of the city core.

Not sure, I will have to look into that. Time for another update, this one comes from just outside of Toronto, to the east and north a bit, just out of Oshawa.
Northern Dancer (May 27, 1961 – November 16, 1990) was a Canadian-bred Thoroughbred racehorse and the most successful sire of the 20th Century. The National Thoroughbred Racing Association calls him "one of the most influential sires in Thoroughbred history". In his two years of racing, Northern Dancer won 14 of his 18 races and never finished worse than third. In The Blood-Horse ranking of the top 100 U.S. thoroughbred champions of the 20th Century, Northern Dancer was ranked #43. Pretty impressive if you ask me! Anyways, the former home of this champion horse is now sitting abandoned, awaiting it's fate.
