Well, that was amazing! Start to finish, every photo was gorgeous. 100, 89, 83, 1, 10, 37, 44, and 73 were my favourites. Looks like an enjoyable trip, still got to make it out to Chicago one of these days. Will there be any of your awesome neighbourhood tours for Chicago?

I intended to go up to Lincoln Park before the Cubs game, but it was 98 degrees that day so we hung around downtown instead. We would have been totally wiped out if we walked around for 3 hours and then sat in the ballpark for another 3 hours. The downtown area is so huge and so amazing I was content to spend most of my time exploring it.

I have about 100 more photos that I'll post another time.

Amazing collection of photos! They make my heart ache to return and finally settle down. But until that opportunity presents itself, I'll have to make do with occasional visits supplemented with fantastic photo spreads like this. Thanks for posting these!

great photos!

You were there for when the Philly's where playing? I live not to far from Wrigley. Just wow Philly fans! Wtf? That's now two of your sports teams over the years I have been here, I think or maybe it was the basball teem twice, I have seen with perhaps the worst behaved and worst attitude fans of sports in America now - well NOLA fans for football were just sad I almost felt sorry for what dragged in so that doesn't count. Yeah you got on the wrong train, no need to start shit with people on the train. Oh not just that. I could hardly believe the neanderthals walking around Lakeview after the games. I mean really what the hell lol. Btw. I am not a sports fan so I hold no allegiance. I am not going to disagree, Cubs fans arent high on the evolutionary scale either but still no comparison to what I saw during this series from Philly.

Ok aside from that, glad you got around and good job capturing where you went

Killer thread. Before I clicked - '100 photos is a lot' After I clicked - ' I want more!'
The structure and color of your shots are top notch.

Incredible. You were incredibly successful in some of those dark canyons. I feel like you were basically in the right place at the right time for all these photos.

And that fog!!!!! Dang you were lucky to get that. I was just up in the Hancock tonight and would have loved to get fog like that.

Nice pictures. It's great that you got to see the Phillies there. Wrigley Field is one of the top places on my list to see the Phillies play. As usual, it looks like there were plenty of Phils fans. The local broadcast naturally showed more than your pictures did but you got some of them in. I think the Phillies were in town for another of your threads once.

I was disappointed to read that you didn't get a chance to do a neighborhood thread. I would've loved to see a little mini-series by you like you did for Regina, Winnipeg, Halifax, and all of the other palces that you've visited on quick stops.

P.S.

What's with the comment above regarding Philly fans? Not ready for the invasion, I'm guessing? Been watching ESPN too much or something?

Dude, rarely do I see photos of such quality on here like you just posted. Your subjects and compositions are absolutely splendid. I really liked the photo of the guy standing in front of the moving subway L train. These photos are different from your usual style and I like it but I also love your other photo threads to. There was just something about this thread that made it stick out, keep it up man

Some seriously good shooting there, looks like you really planned ahead on what to photograph, but dude why did you waste 3 hours of your precious time on a baseball game when you could've been capturing more awesome images

Love your photos! The silhouette the towers make over Navy Pier are my favorite. Hope to see your other photos soon.

Wonderful pictures, Flar!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos with us. I´ve liked all of them. Incredible shots with the fog on the Michigan lake.

Chicago is simply amazing, and we´re wishing to go back there. It´s a sensational city and I love its skyline, it´s wonderful.

I´m sorry you had so much heat In Chicago. With the so high humidity there, it must be very oppressive. But it´s another experience, sure.

Congratulations and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Watching a game at Wrigley field would never be seen as a waste of time to a hardcore baseball fan. Plus he got some cool shots there too. Love that one of the two little kids. Thats real chicago.
