Might be better if they'd stuck with the same red neon signage used for "RCA" & for "GE"?

The current sign, to me, always seemed a bit out of place. If it looks like the old Comcast sign did on this building, I have no problem.

At least it's not suffering the same fate as the Trump Hotel in Chicago...

These classic skyscrapers never get old. Like an old Rolls Royce... just has that wow factor.

Priceless pretty much.

Some grabs from the presentation at CB5...

As far as the deck goes, upgrades include:

- A new, elevated viewing platform (introducing, Top of the Top)

- New, elevated and rotating beams to create the classic "lunch" photo (this time in the sky)

- New, digital animated beacon

- New mosaic tile on the rooftop

The height is fine. It's what makes this a better deck in some ways than some of the others. The new platform of unobstructed views will be nice, but probably a little nerve wrecking as well because it's so open.

^Top of the Rock has always been one of my faves, and these renovations look awesome! Hopefully they move ahead with these really soon.
