Is there a webcam for this? It was temporarily with The Laurel webcam but split. I checked SLC site but can't find it.

For some reason it is gone. Maybe they're making a website for 1620 Sansom and will soon include the webcam

Remember a few years ago there was noise about the amount of time building construction was closing down sidewalks, in particular the W site. Council was going to pass laws, and raise the fees that are required to close a sidewalk so it would get progressively more costly as time went on?
So what do we have now, a whole street closed. What happened? Seems so Philly like--attempt to make a change in one direction for the better and end up making a change for the worse by going in the opposite direction.

There seems to have been virtually no enforcement. It's particularly bad on 12th Street. Walking down 12th from Market to Spruce, you're forced to hopscotch back and forth several times due to sidewalk closures with no pedestrian walkways at Jefferson's new tower, The Jessup, and 204 S 12th.

This shouldn’t be a surprise. Nothing is enforced in the city, it’s the Wild West.

Starting to rise a little? This feels like the slowest project in the city right now.

That’s an incredible shot and one of my favorite angles. It depicts the true density of CC that the tall trophy towers can’t. These few new high rises going up are great additions to that density

Now add a finished 1620 Samson, 115 S. 19th, and Broad and Lombard. Parking lots without development plans are becoming a dying breed in core CC. It’s great to see.
