Victoria Park

Contract PW-1 t-18 (P), the third stage in the phased re-construction of the historic Victoria Park, consists primarily of the installation of four new concrete and wrought iron entrance features, as well as the construction of a small multi-use sports field. Other work scheduled to be included in this contract includes the installation of several asphalt pathways, a new wooden gazebo, and a completely new illumination system replacing the existing lights and light poles.

According to the preliminary construction schedule, work is expected to commence September 12a'ÿ 2011, and will likely carry into the middle or end of October. The expected date of completion is October 28 th, 2011, or the last Friday of the month.

During this two-month construction period all access to the existing park features, such as the splash pad and tennis courts will be UNAVAILABLE.
