Crane started coming down today, first couple steps were done by the crane itself, a mobile crane is on site for the rest.

The Craigmore is now substantially complete!

"The Craigmore" Photoset (December 29th, 2014)

Overall I'd give this a 7/10. It gets point for having a nice simplistic design, narrow tower, and density but loses some on lack of podium, lack of green space, and public areas interaction.

From the Draft Regional Plan.

"1 Craigmore Drive, Halifax (PID 41067836)

BANC Investments Ltd. requests consideration of adding more residential uses on the property in particular the front area.

The concept includes a FAR of 5.00 and a height of 20 stories on the entire property.

The Draft Regional Plan identifies these lands as aSuburban Growth Area suitable for Rapid Transit Oriented Development."
