^According to this website the new Starbucks is at 535 Larry Uteck Boulevard which puts it in front of the drug store at Southgate Drive.

Wow... that'll take a bite out of Coffee Culture's business. Hopefully there's enough traffic and population base to support both of them plus the Tim's down the street.

That said, Coffee Culture has a better selection of lunch items than Starbuck's, so it should keep that part of its customer base, at least.

The Future Developments area between Needs and Woody's is under construction as well. I still think L001 across from RBC is going to be a McCafé.

I drove up this way today on the way into work and there is a second tower crane set to go up at 671 Larry Uteck (between 9 Mile Circle and Luxor II). I believe it is the same owners as the previous Gardens I-V, but maybe this is a sign that it will be a new design. Looks like the same crane that did St. Lawrence Place.

Yes it is the same people who did the Gardens buildings. It would be nice if they did a new design! I find everything is beginning to look too much a like. I see the glass is in where the starbucks and pizza town will go. Are those two businesses really sharing that one space?? It seems awfully small...kinda like the Tims there!

It's a single drive-thru so I doubt it's a McDonalds. It also looks kind of large for a fast-food chain. Swiss Chalet is a possibility though. I'm going to laugh if it ends up being another bank drive-thru (TD or Scotiabank)!

Yeah me too. Although TD is already there so all that's left is Scotiabank although they do have a bank nearby.

The starbucks on Larry U is now hiring- they are going to be training their workers at Lacewood then opening to store in late Aug or early Sept.

CherryBerry Yogurt Bar is moving into the new building in Hemlock Square next to Needs / Fast Fuels.

It's awesome to see new (to here) businesses open up in the city, but it seems like we're getting a particular food item (in this case yogurt) everywhere all at once. The same thing happened with gourmet burgers - a few years ago we had next to no spots, now we have over a dozen.

Tried out the new Morris East on the weekend and I have to say it was excellent!

Great food, nice surroundings and if you get a window seat, a great view of the orange crane in this pic...

Highly recommended!

I tried it as well food is fantastic and interior is amazing.

Anyone figure out yet what restaurant/fast food is going next to CIBC on Dellridge lane? I'll try and snap a new picture of it later.

I found this thanks to Dmajackson's post showing the new rendering of the Horizon III tower in Dartmouth. It's off Geoff Keddy Architect's website. My guess is this is under construction behind Shopper's drug mart (Not the restaurant/bank under construction next to CIBC).
