One Bloor W is indeed (trying) to grow much taller. The new 9 floors will take the tower to 1100ft+ (338m).

Nice, we'll take it! Hopefully no one makes a fuss about 9 extra floors on a building that is already tall as is, not to mention under construction.

^Love it at the increased height, I hope it starts a one-upmanship kind of thing.

First time commenting, but I've been quietly enjoying the content here for a while. I made a mockup of Montreal's future skyline with a number of u/c projects. It's definitely no Toronto but it's pretty big for Montreal. Thought I'd share.

CN Tower view rendering of 212 King Street West, proposed @ 312m (left centre of pic).

Amazing work! Tour de la Bourse will be completely hidden from view from multiple angles. The central part of the downtown is the only area that won't see any significant development, preserving views of 1000 and Place Ville Marie.

Mirvish + Gehry (previous and revised massing models) along side 212 King West.

Prolific render magician Steve Velasco has been busy the last few days.

An explosion of height west of the financial core. In addition to a slew of 200m+ proposed and u/c projects, 3 proposed developments include a super-tall: M + G and 212 King W,
and Union Park on Front Street W (right of the CN Tower). The tallest building in the country for more than 4 decades, BMO (left side) stuck at 298m, can only watch and bemoan
the lousy “nice try” super-tall plastic plaque it received from the CTBUH. Even super-tall SkyTower, on the waterfront to the east, render-bombs poor BMO.

Looking south east to King Street.

277 Wellington West proposed @ 233.5m - just a good look at the site of the proposed tower from steveve and the height coming to the Entertainment District

This is awesome!! Crazy how much is going up around Tour de La Bourse... It's already hidden from Mount Royal views and now it'll be hidden from this angle too LOL

Also, those Toronto models look great. Insane skyline for real.

Where is Victoria Sur le Parc in that Montreal image? Hidden behind another tower?
