Preview of what the CitizenM Austin will look like in terms of its artistic decor?

That caption made me chortle a bit. Citizen M is not disrupting anything. It's outside the mainstream by about two and a half steps.

I think it varies a bit from location to location. Here's the artwork on one of the Miami Locations for reference . It looks like the Austin tower will be a little more conservative than some of their others in terms of the exterior artwork.

Oof. I’m OK with ours.

Miami has two citizenM hotels, the Austin one looks more clean IMO.

I think the artwork on the sides is the best aspect of any of these, honestly. Especially given the dearth of artwork on buildings in DT Austin -- I think we only have the 111 Congress Parking Garage, and then the Line Hotel, in terms of public murals downtown. The one rendering we have doesn't show anything like this, but we can always hope...

Curious to see how one plays with One American Center. It almost looks like windows are going to be covered?

That's the OAC parking garage. I used to work there that back corner is 100% parking.

It kind of looks like a office building built in the 1960's that's being converted to a hotel now, but with a budget so low that exterior just stays the same.

The interior and street interaction are pretty nice, but the overall design and height would make it a great project for that lot just south of the Cambria.
