^ I get your general point, but most of the converted houses on that block of Piedmont all have driveways and parking in front with a tiny sidewalk. It doesn't make for a nice walking experience. That area could use a lot more density - but again, I understand the need and desire to make sure local businesses are accomodated.

FYI, there were durable deed restrictions on those three other corners that required this look. The only project that was able to get out of them was the one where Whole Foods is.

Some people have to complain, I guess to fill the silence

It is stunning to see the density growth in Midtown, spectacular!

One Atlantic Jr. is a master class in how to completely fuck up a good design language.

The Midtown aerial shot is nothing short of epic, what amazes me is that I've witnessed 99% of this get built since my arrival in 1986. Thanks so much smArTaLone for your never-ending incredible contributions to this forum.

I'm blowing this up and having it matted and framed.

I arrived in 2003 and I think 90% of the structures in this photo are new. Getting hard to spot empty lots to develop.

It's VERY near current (just last summer), which shows how fast the pace of change has become. JPX and Toll Brothers have made a huge difference almost overnight.

Its crazy how each skyline of Atlanta can easily hold its own against a lot of cities.
