I noticed those as well. There are some nice older ones that show the area around South/Barrington.

The two photos above show just how bad those surface lots are. The one on Dresden Row should have been filled in with something by now. The loss of parking is no excuse because it can go underground or into structured parking in the middle of the lot. Ideally the scale of new development would be comparable to the Charterhouse or Martello.

Google maps now has photos and wikipedia options. There's a lot of nice pics all over Halifax, worth checking out.
For example I found this on there.

I would think it would be visible. My guess is it would rise right behind the clock.

Nice. The Paramount always looks so good from inside the garden.

Ah, some interesting views. The first one appears to be taken from the top of Duke Tower, the second from Barrington Tower... but I'm having a difficult time figuring out where the third was taken from. Looks like the CIBC building maybe?

Click on them and it will say where they were taken from. He/She has a lot of other pics, I just grabbed a few that caught my eye.

Wait.. there's four images now. I could have sworn that one of Duke/Granville wasn't there when I first replied... senility?

Bedford-Sackville

Some pictures by me yesterday:

Shore Drive in Bedford by Fort Sackville.

Some random construction site in Sackville at Sackville Drive and Cobequid Road. It backs onto the highway so im guessing either industrial or a big store.

The Bedford-Sackville Connector also called the Sackville River Greenway. Taken at the junction of Sackville and Little Sackville Rivers.

The Sackville skyline from Old Sackville Road.
