Good to know. Guess the Vancouver Sun was wrong. Since I just saw Death Cab at Pemberton I guess that info makes my decision to go or not a little easier to make.

I think Wilco is on for some of the tour, just not Vancouver. I saw Wilco in Barcelona back in '04 - it was their first show after Tweedy got out of rehab...wasnt looking, nor sounding, very good at that point.

Thunderbird Stadium sold out, so about 15,000 or so.

Not too shabby a concert, eh excel?

I think the rain made it quite memorable... especially during Paranoid Android.

It felt like there were a lot more than 15,000 people at the show. That was the most full I've ever seen Thunderbird.

Oh my. I haven't heard sound that crisp and clear at a show for a really long time. The visual setup was also amazing. I'm a pretty casual fan of Radiohead but that was one of the best shows I've seen in quite a while.

Not a bad little set list...

1. 15 Step
2. There There
3. Morning Bell
4. All I Need
5. Where I End And You Begin
6. Talk Show Host
7. Nude
8. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
9. The National Anthem
10. Bangers And Mash
11. Faust Arp
12. Videotape
13. Karma Police
14. Jigsaw Falling Into Place
15. Just
16. Exit Music (For A Film)
17. Bodysnatchers

First Encore
18. House Of Cards
19. Optimistic
20. You And Whose Army?
21. Planet Telex
22. Everything In Its Right Place

Second Encore
23. Reckoner
24. 2+2=5
25. Paranoid Android

I think Thom Yorke sounded great the whole show but he was fantastic for "Reckoner". This was my third Radiohead show and each time they've sounded superb.

Too bad they didn't play Idioteque too at the end but I think the ending was solid as is.

who here is catching the summer concert series at the PNE??

i took in The Bacon Brothers the other night. better than expected for an actors band. only two songs were covers, and the rest were all original. though, anyone who was expecting Kevin and his brother to do a cover of Footloose was disappointed.

Yea it was more like 22,000 for sure, thats what i heard from some reliable sources on the atease message boards (radiohead).

and ill definitely have to agree with you smooth, it was an absolutely amazing show. it was the second time Ive seen them (2003 thunderbird) and it blew me away once again.

And yes, the setlist was unbelievable, definitely one of the better ones on their 2008 tour (as i follow each shows setlists). I'm so happy they played talk show host, karma police, exit music and 2+2=5, cus those songs seem to be a rarity this tour. you and whose army was pretty cool as well.

and finally, paranoid android. definitely perfect timing with the "rain down" and the lights were amazing when it kicked in.

lets just hope it doesn't take them 5 years to come back this time!

Now that I have my two floor tickets, I can tell you all that the radio presale password for Neil Young is "harvest".

Floor is standing GA - shouldnt be too hard to come by given the target group is 40+ (well, kind of). i like GA floor for most shows, but not for this type. And tics on lower bowl sides for $252 is just stupid. First few rows of balcony on the sides (which can have better sightlines than upper row of lower bowl) are $90 - much more reasonable. This will be my 5th NY show (4 NY and 1 CSNY)

It's crazy that seated tickets cost more than three times as much as floor tickets. I like GA floor for just about any concert except classical and jazz.
