It's talking about the idea of urban development around Asia, includes Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai...etc.
This picture show urban plan of center station in Taipei.

A picture from Apple Newspaper, Xinyi district.

I think Taipei Urban Department try to do the same thing in Taipei Center Train Station district. The mode that build a landmark to promote development. So Gate of Taipei came out.

Plot A5 is very dissapointing. The building looks like it should be in Las Vegas. It does not fit with the other buildings in the surrounding area.

^Oh, A5 is a new mall....I can't believe so many things are planned for this area!!

Off topic, but how's the traffic there? Is it jam packed everyday?

i kinda like the architecture of A5 (even if it might look like a vegas casino) but i dont know why they made that top part that juts up several floors so slender.

The building is nice. I do like that it is very different than other department stores in Taiwan, such as Sogo and others.

When they were finish putting the skin on, I first thought that is was going to be a hotel not a department store.
