Hmm.. I've gone trough MANY MANY versions of my "Atlantis City" ( way back from my Sim City days ) - why I for a long time called it the "Atlantis Project" instead

I unfortunatly don't have many pics of former versions ( but I may have the files on some of my computers I don't use anymore )

Here's one of the pics I did post..

I started a new thread yesterday with my latest ( and hopefully final ) version of Atlantis City - so hopefully this will also be my last pic in this thread

Somebody really ought to put Isle Cristelle on that map. It's in the Gulf of Mexico, relatively close to Florida. I don't care where, specifically.

Here's another dead ( well on life support ) city from me...

However - it will function greatly as an ispiration to my lastest product where I'll build the city in a completely different matter with realism and details prioritised over file size and supertalls

My new City will btw keep the Atlantis name.. ( uhhh I'm so original ain't I )

Another dead city: Brixton, MD

Or rather a comatose city as nothing new has been done since I became busy last fall.

It was never added to the SSP map, but Brixton is located at the very top of the Cheasapeake, on the western shore of the Delmarva peninsula.

Here are some of the photos from the last thread I started on Brixton.

Actual image of Brixton's location.

And the layout of Brixton's downtown core superimposed over the same landform.

Close up on the street grid.

Aerial shot from the south.

Aerial shot from the northeast.

Brixton's tallest tower and my personal favorite from all my google sketchup designs. Cuthbert Tower, named after the park and neighborhood it resides in.

Cutbert Tower and the rest of the buildings on it's block.

The world famous Brixton Bridge (1891), designed by Washington Roebling following the completion of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Burnside Bridge (1911)

Port Union Bridge (1950)

Why was this a failure city? It's really nice. The only thing I don't like is that the towers shown in the pics have too many steps but other than that it's great. The layout is nice too.

Anyways, another failure city: La Corte.
