The only problem with knocking it down would be that you'd never be allowed to put up another of that height anywhere near there

To be fair, you could do a much shorter development on that property with the same or more units. People seem to forget that lower density can have the same number of units if spread out a bit. It's why I don't love podium towers, you get these pencil thin towers.

A bit of colour would have been nice, but this has turned out quite good. A huge improvement, probably even more so on the inside.

Are there people already moving in? I saw lights in the windows of the lower floors last night... could have been due to interior work that's still under way though.

That looks pretty good. Utilitarian, but compared to the unit in which I lived in a Burlington building opened the same year, it's luxurious.
