The proposed development entails an 18 storey residential apartment building on the undeveloped portion of the subject property. The building will consist of a one storey podium for 73 parking spaces, and a 17 storey tower for 167 residential units. They've just renovated that apartment. Smart investment to add apartments along the B-Line route as some won't be able to afford condos.

This is great, the areas on either side of the highway could use some help making the city feel more connected. Not sure if this would have happened without the LRT

I love the circular podium the existing building is on, it was designed beautifully - I hope they don't cop out on some cheap looking materials like they seem to be doing lately with the new building..

Decent spot for some good density even if it's hard to build urban that close to a highway.

doesn't stop them in toronto - some of those buildings are uncomfortably close..

The LRT may be running right in front of the entry as it's shown in the render (that's right about where the line diverges from Main W. to cross over the 403 to King St.). I imagine they'll have to design the final plan around that.
