Looks nice! They've been doing a great job with Herkimer & Bay, hopefully this goes as well.

Construction of Witton Lofts is to start next summer, with completion the following spring. But to see about a unit, prospects will need to head to Locke South at Pine, where a sales office opens Oct. 16. Murray Street just doesn’t have the passersby, Kulakowsky says. “And Locke Street has the demographic we can draw from.

Intersting redevlopment, I hope it all comes together. I'd like them to revisit the design of the addition though - IMO it is disjointed and too much at odds with the existing structure, taking away from its architectural merit.

just 5 units left...

31/36 now sold. True, to 'buy' a unit, purchasers have only had to put down a $1000 refundable deposit, but still, this level of interest speaks to the pent up demand for luxury units in the wh/downtown

With that number it's typically enough to proceed with the next step.

Apparently the pre-sale phase is almost over. The sales office will be moving to 50 Murray St (site of the Witton Lofts) after the last weekend in January. Hopefully they'll start construction soon after that!

The sales site at the lofts was open on the weekend (I think it was the grand opening?). I was in the neighborhood and was attracted by the balloons.

It's well over 50% sold, I'd guess somewhere around 75%. One of the sales agents told me they're looking to start building in the summer (I believe he said July) with it being completed & open in January 2012. That seems awfully fast to me.

I noticed the construction from This Ain't Hollywood on Sunday. It's getting really big.
