Yeah awesome pics man. Philly has always looked gigantic from the south. What I mean though is if you're in the CTC looking south are the new buildings going to be to your right? I've had a few glasses sorry if my wording is vague.

I had to look it up, so for any other laypersons, definition from Wikipedia: BMU, acronym for a Building maintenance unit, a device used to assist in the maintenance of large structures (skyscrapers, stadiums, etc.)

certainly could be, but every time I've seen them they've been in the same position tilted at the same angle; don't BMU's typically move? I went back a few pages & there's a great shot of them in post #8494, 4th photo down. It doesn't really clear anything up for me but maybe someone looking at that photo might know for certain? Possibly some kind of antenna?

The one on the spire roof was angled up for a bit, then it was moved down flat. The same could happen with these ones

Pretty sure that's what they are. I noticed the one on the top of the spire the other day. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.

A union guy told me a rumor that comcast is pitting camden v philly for location of additional offices... could be BS but I figured I'd throw it out there in case anyone else heard this...

Maybe for temporary office space while Comcast 3 gets built. I find it hard to believe they'd want to move jobs to Camden full-time. Temporarily, maybe.

There's still a bit of blue shrink wrap on the North face. How annoying is that?
