That Pinnacle building looks great. Is that part of Amazon's campus?

Amazon is taking the two buildings to the left, and is heavily rumored to be interested in the third tower.

Fantastic!

Will this new development have any fountains/water features?

The hits just keep on comin'! A new 374 foot tower announced for the western end of Midtown, about two miles from downtown right across the street from Vandy's gorgeous new tower:

If you scroll to the right it is featured in that last photo... sorry, I didn't realize those were going to be so large! Haha

Looks like both the Ritz Carlton towers and the Circle South office tower will be starting in mere weeks. They're both fully funded and the only thing left is a bit of paper work. In 6 months, downtown will have no fewer than 9 towers under construction.

It's possible (maybe even likely) that the new Pinnacle tower will be underway by then too. No timeline has been announced on that one. Then there's Midtown which already has three towers underway and two possible ones as soon as next year.

AEG and Southwest Value Partners(the developer of Nashville Yards) announced that they will be partnering on the entertainment district portion of the Nashville Yards development.

Prior to the pandemic, AEG had partnered with MGM to build the proposed district.

The new district has taken on a larger scope. The hotel portion has seemingly been scrapped. The newly designed district will include:
  • A 4000 seat concert venue operated by AEG Presents
  • 8 screen cinema
  • A 275,000 square foot office building
  • Three "highly amenitized" residential towers
  • A "curated collection" of food/beverage/shopping options
  • Open Space/Plaza Space

Targeted construction start of "early 2022."

Link to the press release, with additional details: Link

This part of downtown is going to be very busy next year. By early next year, Amazon II(26 stories), Alcove(34 stories, 418'), Prime(38 stories, 456') will all be well under construction, with the new Pinnacle HQ(34 stories, estimated 550-575') having just started in Q4 2021, and the AEG/SWVP entertainment district starting construction. All of these buildings will be rising within a quarter mile of each other, going to be very impressive.

I'd really like more information on the "Three "highly amenitized" residential towers" planned for the entertainment district of Nashville Yards.

How tall?
Will they be similar in design or three separate designs?
Condos or rental?
Number of units?
When will construction start?

This doesn't shock me one bit. I poured my soul into this project when I was at MGM Resorts. Moved on from that place because of the lack of vision and complete inability to get out of their own way. Horrible company, and Nashville is better for them not being there.

I saw these pop up on the Business Journals, so I grabbed the largest versions to post.
